FAULSense

FAULSense

The FAULSense product line is a hybrid “PZT/FBG” dynamic acousto-ultrasound system that uses a distributed array of piezoelectric “PZT” actuators used as acoustic-ultrasound exciters used to sonicate large structures. These actuators are integrated within a flex-sensor circuit architecture with a distributed array of FBG-sensors receivers that detect and monitor the generated acoustic ultrasound signals which contain structural information of the structure under test. The FAESense systems are fully integrated, compact, lightweight, and power efficient available as single-fiber or multi-fiber (2- to 32-fiber channels) data logger transceivers with USB, ethernet, or Wi-Fi data communications modality, to a remote PC software or with on-board data processing and storage.
